This activity explores the knowledge and skills required to recognise the different visual problems a person may experience following stroke.

Learning Points:

  • Describe the ways in which a stroke may effect an individual’s vision
  • Identify strategies which may be used to assist an individual experiencing visual problems following stroke
  • Be aware of the range of stroke and/or vision health care professionals and services that can help stroke survivors with visual problems
