The doctors assessment

Based on Sheetal’s description of her symptoms the doctor thinks she may have had a TIA and following the local protocol refers Sheetal into the fast access TIA service at the local Nu Yu Hospital.

Sheetal is given an appointment at the TIA clinic the next day. The doctor starts Sheetal on antiplatelet medication (see Topic Loop below) and advises her not to drive until she has been seen at the hospital.
