- Loss of co-ordination – loss of coordination may result in an individual falling
- Facial weakness – facial weakness does not affect a person’s ability to move around safely or independently after stroke
- Poor balance – poor balance may result in an individual falling

- Slurred speech – slurred speech does not affect a person’s ability to move around safely or independently after stroke

- Swallowing problems – swallowing problems do not affect a person’s ability to move around safely or independently after stroke
